Industry representatives were invited to a virtual Q&A with the author of the Net Zero Review, the Rt Hon Chris Skidmore MP. 

Since the publication of the government's Net Zero Strategy multiple global factors led to a shift in the UK's economic outlook, with urgent pressures on the domestic energy market and an accelerated need for stronger policy to enable the UK's domestic renewable energy sector. With this, work was commissioned to plot pathways to enhance the economic opportunities as the UK looks to 2050 to reduce its GHG emissions.

Chris Skidmore MP was appointed as the Review's Chair and, after months of cross-sectoral analysis, the landmark publication was circulated at the beginning of 2023.

Following an intensive period of engagement, over 1800 pieces of evidence were submitted by industry experts. Chaired by PRASEG's Parliamentary Chair, Bim Afolami MP, this event was a chance for industry to feedback following the Review's release.
