Onshore Renewables: Community engagement & economic benefits

Overview: This roundtable explored strategies for formalising community benefit schemes and identifying best practices to benchmark well-designed and effectively implemented programs. By bringing together policymakers, industry representatives, and community stakeholders, the session aimed to establish a framework for improving transparency, consultation, communication, and engagement in renewable energy projects while maximising the economic benefits for local communities.
